Starting from January 1, 2025, the influenza vaccination program will be expanded.

Note: There should be a 7-day interval between the administration of the influenza vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine.

  1. To maximize the effectiveness of the public influenza vaccination program, starting from January 1, 2025, the target population for the influenza vaccination program will be expanded to include "all individuals aged 6 months and above who have not yet received the vaccine, and who have ROC nationality or, for foreign nationals, hold a residence permit (including diplomatic, international organization, and foreign institution official certificates)."
  2. A list of contracted medical institutions providing vaccinations can be obtained by directly inquiring and making appointments through the website of your local health bureau.
  3. Foreign workers/migrants and foreign students who have obtained a residence permit but are waiting to receive a residence permit can use a temporary paper residence permit or a receipt for their residence permit application as proof of residence to receive the 2024 influenza vaccine during the expanded vaccination period; however, those without National Health Insurance coverage must bear the costs of the vaccination, either by the institution, the individual, or the vaccination site.
