Precaution after BioNTech vaccination

If you are going to get vaccination of BioNTech, you might have the following side effects: pain at injection site, joint pain, muscle pain, fever(>38℃), etc. These side effects usually get better in few days. If you have the following adverse reaction, please go to a doctor immediately:

  • The symptoms of myocarditis or pericarditis in the 28 days after vaccination. For example: chest pain, palpitation, shortness of breath, etc.
  • Having a fever continuously for more than 2 days, symptoms of anaphylaxis (dyspnea, asthma, dizzy, heart rete speed up, rash)

   Besides, please contact NTHU Division of Health Service (03-5743000) during the working hours from Monday to Friday or Student Assistance Division (03-5711814) 24 hours a day, so we can follow up.

Notification: Although getting vaccination can reduce the probability of infection of COVID-19, it's still possible getting infected. Hence we need to wear a mask and wash hands frequently.
