- Eligible recipients for the government-funded influenza vaccine: Must possess Republic of China citizenship (foreign nationals must hold a residence permit).

Target Recipients Vaccination Schedule - Healthcare and Public Health Personnel
- Adults aged 65 and above
- Recipients in Facilities providing Care for the Elderly, Nursing, Long-term Care, Community-based Services for Individuals with Disabilities, and their respective staff
- Children aged 6 months and older up to pre-elementary school entry
- Pregnant Women
- Individuals with chronic medical conditions, including those with high-risk chronic illnesses, BMI ≥ 30, rare diseases, or major illness/injury
- Parents of Infants Within 6 Months
- Kindergarten Caretakers And Child-Care Professionals and Family-based Childcare Providers (Nannies)
- Students in the first to third grades of Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, as well as Vocational Schools
- Poultry Farmers And Animal Health Inspectors
Starting from October 2nd, 2023, until the vaccines are depleted. Adults aged 50 to 64 without high-risk chronic conditions. Starting from November 1st, 2023, until the vaccines are depleted. - If you are not eligible for free influenza vaccination as mentioned above, it is recommended that you visit a nearby medical facility for a 'self-paid' influenza vaccine appointment. - Friendly Reminders
(1) Influenza vaccines are inactivated vaccines and can be administered simultaneously with other vaccines at different sites or at any time interval.
(2) If you completed the annual influenza vaccination for the 2022 year just before the end of August in the current year (2023), it is advisable to wait for a period of at least one month before receiving the current season's influenza vaccine. This is because the protective effectiveness of the influenza vaccine gradually diminishes after six months, and the viral strains included in the influenza vaccine may vary each year. To ensure sufficient protection during the upcoming influenza season, it is recommended to wait for at least 1 month before getting this year's seasonal influenza vaccine.
